This is a detailed account of the author's army duty spent in Tokyo, Japan, from 1965 to 1967.  The author was stationed at North Camp Drake where the 249th general hospital cared for the many wounded soldiers airlifted in from the jungles of Viet Nam.  The work includes lots of photos of the men who furnished support at the same 2000 bed facility, plus stories and photos of his many sight-seeing adventures while in Japan.
